With all the new companies making skateboard decks and accessories its hard to know which brands are the best. If you have been skating for awhile you have already found out that it really comes down to personal prefrence. But you have to start somehwere and why waste money. A complete skateboard consists of several different parts. The deck, griptape, trucks, wheels and berings. Also there is hardware which means the nuts and bolts that hold the trucks onto the deck and the wheels onto the trucks. Which brands are the best. Well like I said eairler its your own prefrence, but if you stick with it is also a good idea to buy brands like Shorties, Tensor, Lucky, Independent. Companies like shorties make complete kits you can buy at your local skate shop or online, it will have everything you need to tune up your board. Tensor makes awsome trucks which last a good while even with lots of grinding. Lucky makes some of the best berrings you can find. Independent make decks but most of all kick ass trucks.Independant trucks have been known for a very long time to be one of the most durable trucks you can buy. Just ask around. Asking people what they think is your best bet. Dont buy something just because it looks cool, it probley break the next day. Go to your local skateshop talk to one of the guys there that actually skates. See what he uses. |
